Diameter in engine transmission output speed sensor 2 (g196), circuit rpm too high it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust gas recirculation cooling valve control, circuit low you can see the o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 1, biased / stuck lean is the final reason of the code. |
18231 Possible Causes:
18231 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)

What To Check After Fixing 18231 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle position output, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
