The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault valve for pump - jet: cylinder 12 (n308), range / performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start hydraulic actuator position sender (g302), lower limit not reached also cylinder 12 above knock threshold is the final reason of the code. |
18230 Possible Causes:
18230 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18230 Code
- Inspect all the connections vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
