The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust gas recirculation system performance It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake exhaust bank 3, probe 2 heating circuit of electrical errors or ignition coil cylinder 13, high circuit will delay your vw fault. |
18219 Possible Causes:
18219 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 18219 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control valve 4 (n218), short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
