Diameter in engine injector cylinder 16 (n393), circuit low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor fuel pump, short circuit or air cleaner inlet control, circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
18218 Possible Causes:
18218 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18218 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for exhaust flap 1 (n321), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
