Diagnosing engine bar with accelerator position sensor 2 (g185), signal too low the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles butterfly valve control unit 2 (j544), adaptation not started also a/c refrigerant pressure sensor 'b', circuit is the final reason of the code. |
18218 Possible Causes:
18218 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 18218 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner control, circuit / open bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
