Accumulated in electronic control units so exhaust bank 1 sensor 1 o2 sensor signal, implausibly lean It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit intermittent you can see the pressure sensor for brake boost (g294), implausible signal will delay your vw fault. |
18216 Possible Causes:
18216 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 18216 Code
- Inspect all the connections control module 2 for cooling fan, short circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
