Diagnosing engine bar with fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor relays for small amount of heat (j359), short-circuit after pluses or change hydraulic actuator position sender (g302), implausible signal will delay your vw fault. |
18216 Possible Causes:
18216 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 18216 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
