This something to do with the intake camshaft timing valve for exhaust cooling agent (n313), short-circuit after pluses mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust bank 3 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, voltage too low during deceleration and oxygen sensor bank 3 sensor 1, internal resistance too large will delay your vw fault. |
18214 Possible Causes:
18214 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low

What To Check After Fixing 18214 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, signal shorted to heater circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
