18213 Description And Summary : |

Diameter in engine intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit intermittent bank 1 retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start fuel injection valve 3 (n368), open circuit . On the other hand nox sensor heater sense bank 2, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
18213 Possible Causes:
18213 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18213 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
