The problem is about exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor throttle/fuel inhibit, circuit and wait then particulate trap bank 2, efficiency below threshold is the final reason of the code. |
18211 Possible Causes:
18211 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18211 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 12 (n308), range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
