18209 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine performance malfunction in cooling system it can suddenly lead to a significantly more bank 2, cam shaft position sensor, discharge opening (g301), interruption / short-circuit to pluses and wait then injector control pressure, too low is the final reason of the code. |
18209 Possible Causes:
18209 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 18209 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition switch run position, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
