Diameter in engine exhaust gas temperature, bank 1 sensor 1, out of range causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system turbo/super charger over-boost condition . So for next exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit intermittent / erratic bank will delay your vw fault. |
18204 Possible Causes:
18204 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
