182 Description And Summary : |

This code were stamped on VW Engine case activation, intake manifold runner bank 2 control, range / performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start relays for large amount of heat (j360), short-circuit after pluses and data bus powertrain, no communication is the final reason of the code. |
182 Possible Causes:
182 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 182 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
