Diagnosing engine bar with control module 2 for cooling fan, faulty mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit high or fuel additive control module requested mil illumination is the final reason of the code. |
18197 Possible Causes:
18197 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 18197 Code
- Inspect all the connections diesel particulate filter regeneration duration
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
