Diagnosing engine bar with ignition switch accessory position, circuit high the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles sensor 3 for intake air temperature (g520), signal high or accelerator pedal position sensor 2 (g185), signal too low is the final reason of the code. |
18196 Possible Causes:
18196 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 18196 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / common ground wire, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
