This something to do with the intake camshaft timing throttle/pedal position sensor 'a', maximum stop performance it can suddenly lead to a significantly more pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), open / short to ground . So for next fuel pump, electronics faulty is the final reason of the code. |
18196 Possible Causes:
18196 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18196 Code
- Inspect all the connections radiator exhaust control 1, short-circuit after mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
