18193 Description And Summary :

Diagnosing engine bar with malfunction indication light (k83), electrical malfunction causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / pump current, short to ground or intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit low bank 2 will delay your vw fault.

18193 Possible Causes:

18193 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
  • Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
  • Reverse Input Circuit
  • Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
  • O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
  • Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High

What To Check After Fixing 18193 Code

  • Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, pump current, short to b+
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
