Diagnosing engine bar with malfunction indication light (k83), electrical malfunction causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / pump current, short to ground or intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit low bank 2 will delay your vw fault. |
18193 Possible Causes:
18193 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 18193 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, pump current, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
