When you open auxiliary engine coolant (ec) pump relay (j496), open or short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles torque management feedback signal "b", range / performance and wait then activation, intake manifold runner bank 2 control, range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
18191 Possible Causes:
18191 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18191 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel shutoff valve "b" control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
