This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ignition coil 'd' primary control, circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start relay for supply voltage terminal 30 (j317), implausible signal also linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / pump current, open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
18190 Possible Causes:
18190 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 18190 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, heater return coupling
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
