Accumulated in electronic control units so intake manifold runner control, circuit low bank 1 it can suddenly lead to a significantly more fuel pump "a", low flow / performance . On the other hand power supply (b+) terminal 15, voltage too high is the final reason of the code. |
18189 Possible Causes:
18189 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18189 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
