The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448) the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / common ground wire, short to b+ also a/c clutch relay, circuit short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |

18188 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

What To Check After Fixing 18188 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, pump current, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
