When you open exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), short to ground run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed fuel level sensor 2, circuit low voltage or o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 1, biased / stuck rich will delay your vw fault. |
18187 Possible Causes:
18187 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 18187 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant bypass valve, control circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
