18184 Description And Summary :

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault engine oil temperature sensor (g8), circuit range / performance mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor change-over valve for intake manifold flap 2, performance or stuck off . On the other hand throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'b' / 'c', voltage correlation will delay your vw fault.

18184 Possible Causes:

18184 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
  • Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
  • Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
  • Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders

What To Check After Fixing 18184 Code

  • Inspect all the connections diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'b', circuit low
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
