This code were stamped on VW Engine case glow plug / heater relay, circuit open / short to ground mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor bank 2, system too lean off idle or change direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
18183 Possible Causes:
18183 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 18183 Code
- Inspect all the connections ecm/pcm power relay sense, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
