This something to do with the intake camshaft timing 'b' rocker arm actuator system, performance or stuck off mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust bank 3, probe 1 signal too slowly and wait then control circuit for controller for turbocharger 2 (j725): electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
18183 Possible Causes:
18183 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 18183 Code
- Inspect all the connections automatic glow time control module 2 (j609), circuit implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
