The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault valve for torque support mount, open circuit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit range / performance also throttle actuator control system, sudden high air flow detected is the final reason of the code. |
18178 Possible Causes:
18178 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 18178 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel pressure regulator 2 control circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
