When you open direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor, circuit intermittent / erratic the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles cannot activate controller reply function due to another error with equal priority also transmission mount valve 2 (n263), short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
18175 Possible Causes:
18175 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 18175 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 2, exhaust cam wave position sensor (g301) / crankshaft position sensor (g28), wrong allocation
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
