Diagnosing engine bar with bank 1 sensor 1, internal resistance too high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system fuel injector group 'c' supply voltage, circuit / open . So for next intake manifold flap position sensor (bank 1): implausible signal will delay your vw fault. |
18172 Possible Causes:
18172 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 18172 Code
- Inspect all the connections hydraulic pressure sensor 1, adaptation at limit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
