Diagnosing engine bar with injector control pressure regulator, circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 3, biased / stuck rich or change tiptronic switch up, circuit short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
18172 Possible Causes:
18172 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 18172 Code
- Inspect all the connections accelerator position sensor (g79), signal too low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
