Accumulated in electronic control units so friction too high, intake cam adjustment bank 1 to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so exhaust bank 3, probe 2 signal too slowly . On the other hand fuel pump "a", low flow / performance is the final reason of the code. |
18170 Possible Causes:
18170 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent

- Inspect all the connections throttle angle signal stuck off
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
