Staring in engine 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit / open it can suddenly lead to a significantly more brake pedal position / accelerator pedal position, incompatible or change direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor, circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
18169 Possible Causes:
18169 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 18169 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 10 (n306), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
