When you open automatic glow time control module 2 (j609), circuit implausible signal to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so relay for exhaust cooling agent (n313), short to b+ and reductant temperature sensor, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
18168 Possible Causes:
18168 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input

What To Check After Fixing 18168 Code
- Inspect all the connections motor for intake manifold flap (v157), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
