This code were stamped on VW Engine case please check dtc memory of transmission ecu the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit bank 2 . On the other hand ignition coil 'b' secondary circuit, malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
18162 Possible Causes:
18162 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 18162 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 12 (n308), regulation range exceeded
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
