The problem is about ignition switch run position, circuit high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit intermittent also turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit is the final reason of the code. |
18154 Possible Causes:
18154 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18154 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle position output, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
