This code were stamped on VW Engine case please check dtc memory of transmission ecu causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust pressure sensor, low or secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
18151 Possible Causes:
18151 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 18151 Code
- Inspect all the connections starter relay 2, electrical malfunction in circuit (relay stuck / does not switch)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
