18150 Description And Summary :

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault throttle/pedal position sensor 'f', maximum stop performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system tiptronic switch down, circuit short to ground you can see the starter does not run, mechanically blocked or mechanical malfunction will delay your vw fault.

18150 Possible Causes:

18150 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
  • Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
  • Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
  • Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
  • Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 18150 Code

  • Inspect all the connections outside temperature sensor 2 (g249), open to b+
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
