The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault throttle/pedal position sensor 'f', maximum stop performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system tiptronic switch down, circuit short to ground you can see the starter does not run, mechanically blocked or mechanical malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
18150 Possible Causes:
18150 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18150 Code
- Inspect all the connections outside temperature sensor 2 (g249), open to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
