When you open injector control pressure regulator, circuit / open the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles tiptronic switch up, circuit short to ground . On the other hand actuator supply voltage "b", circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
18148 Possible Causes:
18148 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 18148 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
