Diameter in engine manifold absolute pressure / mass air flow - throttle position correlation at higher load it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust bank 3 oxygen sensor correction behind catalyst, rich control limit exceeded or change o2 sensor negative current control bank 1 sensor 1, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
18147 Possible Causes:
18147 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 18147 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
