The problem is about cylinder 12 above knock threshold mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust bank 3 sensor 1, inner resistance implausible or change diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'b', circuit intermittent / erratic is the final reason of the code. |
18143 Possible Causes:
18143 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 18143 Code
- Inspect all the connections a/c refrigerant pressure sensor 'b', circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
