Staring in engine pressure sensor for brake boost (g294), short to ground it can suddenly lead to a significantly more fuel mode indicator lamp control, circuit or exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
18140 Possible Causes:
18140 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18140 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
