Diameter in engine exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448), range / performance the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles nox sensor bank 1, circuit intermittent or change function restriction due to brake temperature is the final reason of the code. |
18140 Possible Causes:
18140 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 18140 Code
- Inspect all the connections vehicle speed signal wheel speed from brake control module; range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
