This something to do with the intake camshaft timing throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit intermittent causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system shift up/down wire, open / short to ground you can see the valve for exhaust flap 1 (n321), short to b+ will delay your vw fault.
