Diameter in engine relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to ground It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 1, circuit low or change valve for pump - jet, cylinder 5 (n244), electrical malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
18131 Possible Causes:
18131 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18131 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit interruption
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
