Diagnosing engine bar with friction too high, exhaust cam adjustment bank 2 to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so intake manifold tuning valve (bank 1), stuck closed and valve for starting with empty tank-nxxx, open or short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
18127 Possible Causes:
18127 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 18127 Code
- Inspect all the connections vehicle speed signal wheel speed from brake control module; range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
