18124 Description And Summary : |

Diagnosing engine bar with transmission control unit (j217), programming error retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start coolant (fc) fan control module (j293), malfunction also throttle control: airflow at idle too low is the final reason of the code. |
18124 Possible Causes:
18124 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 18124 Code
- Inspect all the connections water in fuel sensor, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
