Staring in engine bank 2, cam shaft position sensor, discharge opening (g301), interruption / short-circuit to pluses retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit range / performance . On the other hand fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
18123 Possible Causes:
18123 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 18123 Code
- Inspect all the connections diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'a', circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
