Accumulated in electronic control units so fuel supply heater, control circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system valve for torque support mount, open circuit or relay for supply voltage terminal 30 (j317), implausible signal is the final reason of the code. |
18120 Possible Causes:
18120 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 18120 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for electrical fuel pump 2 (j49), interruption/short-circuit after mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
