18120 Description And Summary : |

Diameter in engine brake pressure switch (f270), implausible signal causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system transmission faulty you can see the coolant degassing valve, control circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
18120 Possible Causes:
18120 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 18120 Code
- Inspect all the connections generator lamp/l-terminal, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
