Diagnosing engine bar with o2 sensor negative current control bank 1 sensor 1, circuit low to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit open circuit or change linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / common ground wire, open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
18117 Possible Causes:
18117 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction

- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 18117 Code
- Inspect all the connections 'b' rocker arm actuator system, performance or stuck off
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
