This something to do with the intake camshaft timing turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid c (n388), signal low the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s3, signal shorted to heater circuit and wait then intake manifold flap position sensor (bank 1): implausible signal will delay your vw fault. |
18114 Possible Causes:
18114 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 18114 Code
- Inspect all the connections low pressure fuel system sensor (g410), circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
