Accumulated in electronic control units so vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit range / performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3, compensation wire pump current, open circuit and wait then powertrain data bus, missing message from abs controller is the final reason of the code. |
18109 Possible Causes:
18109 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 18109 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor bank 2, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
