Staring in engine relays for large amount of heat (j360), short-circuit after pluses mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 1, circuit high or evaporative emission system vent (n115), valve stuck closed will delay your vw fault. |
18101 Possible Causes:
18101 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18101 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for exhaust cooling agent (n313), short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
