Diagnosing engine bar with signal 'door up' not recognized mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor data bus powertrain, implausible message from immobilizer also exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
181 Possible Causes:
181 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 181 Code
- Inspect all the connections kick down switch, error message from engine contr.
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
