The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault fuel mixture control adjustment range 3, higher limit not reached retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, pump current, short to ground you can see the exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 1, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
18099 Possible Causes:
18099 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
