When you open exhaust bank 1 mixture adaptation range 3, rich limit exceeded to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so transmission range display, circuit short to ground also secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit intermittent / erratic is the final reason of the code. |
18093 Possible Causes:
18093 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 18093 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
