The problem is about diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'b', circuit low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor post catalyst fuel trim system, low limit and wait then throttle position (tp) sensor (g79), error message from ecm will delay your vw fault. |
18088 Possible Causes:
18088 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off

What To Check After Fixing 18088 Code
- Inspect all the connections hydraulic pressure sensor 1, range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
