When you open givers 2 for intake air temperature (g299), signal too small mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor throttle actuator control motor, circuit high and load signal from alternator terminal df, open or short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
18083 Possible Causes:
18083 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18083 Code
- Inspect all the connections glow plug control module 2 (j703), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
